Who Is Premier Faucet?

Premier Faucet is an exclusive sub brand of the larger brand called Interline, which is a Home Depot company. They design products that are visually unique from many of the other ones out there. Their color and finishing choices combined with the unique features that some of their products include, like the waterfall spout for example, set their products apart from the rest.

Contrary to what their brand name implies, Premier Faucet does produce more than just faucets. They also design and manufacture products such as toilets, shower heads, and other bathroom hardware and accessories. They confidently back nearly all of their products with a limited lifetime warranty as well.

Why the Premier Faucet 284446 Sanibel?

The Premier Faucet 284446 Sanibel bathroom faucet has a sleek, modern design with a unique waterfall spout that sets it apart from other faucets. This faucet is available in three different color and finishing options, which include chrome, brushed nickel, and Parisian bronze, giving you variety and allowing you to find a color and finishing option that best matches your bathroom décor. These finishes are all very different from each other too, so if you want something more modern looking, you can choose chrome or if you want something more vintage looking, you can choose the Parisian bronze.

This faucet comes equipped with a ceramic disc cartridge which keeps the faucet running smoothly over a long period of time, as well prevents dripping and leaking. Its waterfall spout design allows for soft, peaceful water flow too reminiscent of the calming sounds of an actual waterfall.

The single handle design of this faucet makes adjusting the water pressure and temperature much easier than the more old fashioned two handle faucets. However, one downside is that this faucet does not have a very strong amount of water pressure which is most likely due to the waterfall spout. While this design feature is pleasing to the eye and creates a soothing water trickle sound, it is not ideal if you are looking for a faucet with stronger water pressure.

A big plus of this faucet though is that is is WaterSense certified by the EPA. This means that even though it has the capacity to deliver 1.5 gallons of water per minute, it still conserves a lot of water and helps save you money on your monthly water bill. Plus, this faucet delivers tap water that is completely free of lead, meaning that it is safe for you to drink. This will allow you to save even more money, as well as being even more environmentally friendly by eliminating the need to purchase water bottles or gallons.

Like many other faucets, this one is also backed by a lifetime warranty that covers any defects in the faucet that may come up for however long you own it for.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Sleek, modern design complete with waterfall spout
  • Available in three different color options
  • The water from this faucet is lead free and safe to drink
  • Ceramic disc cartridge prevents leaking and dripping
  • Waterfall spout creates soft, soothing water trickle sound
  • WaterSense certified by the EPA
  • Compliant with ADA specifications
  • Backed by a lifetime warranty

Cons

  • The water pressure is not as strong as it is in some other faucets
  • The exterior collects water stains rather easily

Conclusion

Overall, the Premier Faucet 284446 Sanibel is a pretty good choice. I would not go so far as to call it a great choice though, only because of the lack of water pressure. While the waterfall spout design is very pleasing to the eye and gives the faucet a unique look, it isn’t totally practical for everyday things that may be easier to do with more water pressure like brushing your teeth or washing your face.

However, if you are someone who doesn’t like a lot of water pressure or who prefers a more calm, soothing water flow, then this faucet would a great choice for you. It really all depends on preference.
